Heath Nevels is a Houston-based stand-up comedian, engineer, and founder of The Giggle Gym, a pop-up comedy club born from a deep love of laughter and a complete lack of interest in staying in one place.

By day, Heath is a seasoned oil and gas veteran with a global resume and a hard hat to prove it. By night, he's been slinging punchlines for over 20 years, hitting stages across the U.S. as an opener, feature, and midliner at top clubs (with just enough breaks in between to keep his jokes well-marinated in life experience).

The Giggle Gym was his way of merging two worlds: the structured, high-stakes energy of industrial problem-solving… and the beautiful chaos of live comedy. It started with a mic, a portable speaker, and a “what-if-we-just-put-on-a-show-here” mentality. Now it’s a rolling showcase of talent, laughter, and questionable judgment, set up anywhere a crowd and a cold drink can coexist.

Heath’s material draws from decades of global travel, corporate culture, and painfully relatable observations. Whether he's riffing on work, relationships, or the weird stuff people say on planes, his laid-back delivery and sharp wit leave audiences feeling like they’ve just shared a drink with an old friend, one who might roast them at any moment.
